Commenting, Murdo Fraser MSP said: “It is excellent news for everyone in Brechin that £1.8million has been awarded to this historic city through the Scottish Conservative’s ‘Town Centre Regeneration Fund’. This is a great day for Brechin and I warmly congratulate everyone involved in this hugely successful bid. The £1.8million will be used for the maximum good for Brechin and will benefit the whole community. “This funding marks a massive boost and a turning point for the town and I commend all the hard work and effort put in by those involved in this bid for Brechin."
